Description
In response to a proposed plan to widen and extend Matheson Avenue through established residential areas in the mid 1970s, the residents formed a neighborhood association. The Midwood-Matheson Neighborhood Association was successful in defeating the widening plan, and continued its work as an advocate for the neighborhood.
